G. Sudhakaran Sparks Controversy Claiming He Secured Government Jobs for Wives of H. Salam and P.P. Chitharanjan.

Alappuzha: Senior CPI(M) leader G. Sudhakaran has ignited a major political controversy by publicly revealing that he helped secure jobs in the cooperative sector for the wives of CPI(M) MLAs H. Salam and P.P. Chitharanjan.

Sudhakaran made these statements during a public address while responding to allegations made by Ambalappuzha MLA H. Salam, who had accused Sudhakaran of accepting unauthorized funds and amassing property during the 2021 elections. Dismissing Salam’s claims as completely baseless, Sudhakaran recounted the personal assistance he had rendered to both leaders’ families. Delivered at an Onam celebration event organized by the Ambalappuzha Town Residents Association, these revelations have caused significant embarrassment within the party ranks.

During his speech, Sudhakaran also touched upon the CMRL controversy, noting that Ramesh Chennithala’s name had emerged in connection with the issue, though he added that he had no direct knowledge of whether Chennithala accepted money. Furthermore, he commended V.D. Satheesan as a good potential Chief Minister while cautioning him to remain wary of his fellow ministers.
