THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An MBBS student was found dead inside a car. Ashique (23), a final-year student at Alappuzha Medical College and a native of Thattathumala, Kilimanoor, is the deceased. Ashique had left his house with his car yesterday evening at around 4 PM, but did not return home by night.
Following concerns, the family contacted the police and filed a complaint. During the subsequent search, police located Ashique’s car parked near the Thattathumala junction. Although he was found unconscious inside the vehicle and rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
Preliminary assessments indicate that there were signs of vomiting and severe respiratory distress inside the car. Prima facie, it appears to be an unnatural death. Police conducted inspections and shifted the body for further procedures. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
