DUBAI: Riding on the momentum of its historic financial growth, Emirates Airline has unveiled a major global recruitment campaign targeting top-tier aviation talent for its high-tech engineering division. The airline confirmed that a series of in-person recruitment events and screening sessions will be rolled out across multiple international territories, including Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, and India, throughout July and August 2026. This aggressive hiring drive comes closely on the heels of the Emirates Group reporting its best-ever financial performance for FY2025-26, which saw profit before tax reaching Dh24.4 billion and triggered a staggering 20-week salary bonus for its workforce. The group’s total head count expanded by 8 percent to 130,919 employees across Emirates and dnata lines.
As part of the regional tracking schedule, Emirates Engineering will host dedicated evaluation hubs in key Indian metros, specifically setting up recruitment panels in Mumbai on July 21–22 and New Delhi on July 24–25. Additional operational roles like Senior Mechanics and Warehouse Specialists have also been mapped out for Mumbai, Chennai, and Ahmedabad with specific dates across June and August. Candidates clearing the baseline eligibility benchmarks will be fast-tracked for comprehensive technical interviews with Emirates supervisors and executive engineering managers. These international open days are also synchronized with global hiring sessions scheduled for Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, London, Hong Kong, and Istanbul.
In tandem with the overseas talent hunt, Emirates has listed 16 major technical vacancies exclusively based at its core aviation hub in the UAE. These Dubai-based roles span critical infrastructure functions, including Lead Aircraft Mechanic (Base Heavy Maintenance), Warranty Officer, Procurement Manager (Aircraft), and Engineering Type Instructors. Shortlisted professionals will join the state-of-the-art Emirates Engineering centre in Dubai—a massive 55-hectare complex housing 12 fully automated aircraft hangars capable of servicing multiple Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s simultaneously.
