Kollam: The police have arrested a man for trespassing into a house, sexually assaulting, and threatening a bedridden stroke patient. The accused, identified as Raju (53) of Charuvila House, Padappakkara, was arrested by the Kundara police.
According to the case, the accused trespassed into the victim’s bedroom, physically assaulted her on her bed, and sexually abused her. Police stated that he also tore off her urine catheter tube, assaulted her physically, and issued death threats.
An investigation team led by Kundara Police Station Inspector Tanseem Abdul Samad, SI Vishnu, ASI Shinto, and Kailas arrested the accused. He is also an accused in an attempt to culpable homicide case registered at Kundara Police Station in 2020. The arrested accused was produced in court and remanded to judicial custody.
