THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: From mischievous little Krishnas to colourful Gopikas, the streets of Kerala came alive with music, devotion, and festivity as children and families took part in vibrant Shobhayatras marking Ashtami Rohini, celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna.
Organized by the Balagokulam organization across different parts of the state, the processions featured children dressed as Lord Krishna, Radha, and Gopikas walking alongside parents and devotees. Traditional percussion performances added rhythm and fervor to the celebrations.
