New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched a sharp attack against Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi over his protests regarding the NEET examination issue. The minister alleged that Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party are exploiting students merely as political tools to create disruptions during the Monsoon Session of Parliament.
In a post shared on social media platform ‘X’, the minister stated that despite the government being 100% ready for a comprehensive discussion on the issue, the Congress has chosen political spectacles over democratic debate. He criticized the dharna organized by the Congress outside the Prime Minister’s residence, calling it a violation of security protocols that caused severe inconvenience to the general public.
The minister stated that instead of seeking genuine solutions to student grievances, the opposition’s primary objective is to grab news headlines and obstruct parliamentary proceedings. He emphasized that students should not be treated as weapons for political campaigns, adding that young people deserve clarity, certainty, and solid solutions rather than mere slogans and disruption.
The minister further added that the Central Government remains fully committed to addressing and resolving all genuine concerns raised by the youth regarding the NEET examination on the floor of the House.
