Thrissur: A woman was found dead inside a hotel room in Cheruthuruthy, Thrissur. The body was discovered at Hanna Residency in Cheruthuruthy. The deceased has been identified as Dhanalakshmi (56), a native of Cheroor in Malappuram. The room was rented last night under the name of a person named Vijeesh. The death came to light around 2 PM today.
A police team led by the Cheruthuruthy Police Station CI conducted an inspection at the scene, along with fingerprint experts. Police informed that it was a case of murder and that the accused, Vijeesh, surrendered at a police station in Malappuram. Dhanalakshmi was a dance teacher. It is reported that her pressure on him to get married led to the murder.
