KOCHI: The highly anticipated action thriller ‘Kattaalan’ has completed its censoring process, receiving an ‘A’ certificate from the censor board. Arriving with the catchy tagline ‘A for Action’, the film is locked for a grand worldwide release on May 28. Produced by Sharief Muhammed under the banner of Cubes Entertainment and directed by Paul George, the movie is expected to hit screens globally with massive hype.
Cubes Entertainment is the same production house that recently created a new wave in the action genre with ‘Marco’. Moviegoers, especially the youth, are expecting similar adrenaline-pumping, high-octane action sequences from ‘Kattaalan’ as well, which has already pushed their excitement to the peak.
A unique feature of ‘Kattaalan’ is that animals play a highly significant role in the narrative. True to its title, the core of the film revolves around the protagonist’s adventurous and fierce battles against wild animals. Audiences were left stunned by the recently released teaser, which showcased the lead actor Antony Pepe subduing an elephant and engaging in a breathtaking combat sequence.
The film spent over a year in various stages of production, including extensive pre-production, shooting, and meticulous post-production work. It is arriving after thorough preparations.
