THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Water Resources Minister has intervened urgently following severe waterlogging in various parts of the city. A high-level meeting will be convened tomorrow to thoroughly analyze the situation. Minister Mons Joseph has directed the Chief Engineer of the Irrigation Department to investigate the exact causes of sudden flooding in prominent areas of the city, including Thampanoor and Chakai, and submit an immediate report.
The Minister held high-level discussions with fellow Ministers C.P. John and K. Muraleedharan regarding the permanent resolution of the city’s severe waterlogging issues. Tomorrow’s crucial meeting will be held in the presence of all three ministers.
