DOHA: Three individuals, including one child, were injured by falling debris during the interception of Iranian attacks on 12 July 2026. As part of its continuous monitoring of developments on the ground, the Ministry of Interior confirmed that security authorities and Civil Defence teams initiated response procedures in accordance with approved emergency plans following the attacks.

Based on reports received and field assessments, the Ministry confirmed that three people, including one child, sustained injuries as a result of falling debris from interception operations. The injured are currently receiving the necessary medical care.
The Ministry also clarified that national public safety and emergency alerts are activated only when circumstances require the implementation of additional urgent precautionary measures to safeguard public safety. It further urged the public to obtain information solely from official sources and to refrain from circulating rumours or sharing unverified information, images, or video clips to avoid legal accountability.
The Ministry of Interior’s competent security authorities continue to operate with full readiness around the clock, ensuring a rapid response, safeguarding the security and safety of the community, and maintaining the uninterrupted provision of services.
During the early hours of 12 July 2026, emergency alerts were issued to the public at 5:36 am and 6:47 am, which were subsequently notified as cleared.
Al Jazeera reported that Iran had claimed attacks on the Al Udeid Airbase in Qatar using ballistic missiles, claiming to have destroyed a fighter aircraft maintenance and repair centre as well as a command-and-control centre at the base.
