CHAVARA: The nation bid a tearful adieu to renowned drama director Babykuttan (80). His mortal remains were cremated with full official state honours at his residence premises around 3 PM yesterday.
A massive sea of people gathered to pay their last respects to the beloved artist. His sons, Rajesh and Ranjish, jointly lit the funeral pyre. Prominent dignitaries including Ministers P.C. Vishnunath and Shibu Baby John, N.K. Premachandran MP, C.R. Mahesh MLA, former Chavara MLA Sujith Vijayanpillai, and District Collector Anie Jula Thomas paid their final homage.
