KOCHI: The second look poster of actor Dileep’s upcoming film Neekam, directed by Jagan Shaji Kailas, has been officially released. Unveiled on the occasion of Onam, the poster showcases Dileep in a mature and intense look with a graying beard and glasses, seated at a bus stop attentively searching through a diary.
Presented as an emotional thriller drama set against the backdrop of a police station, the narrative reportedly keeps audiences on the edge of their seats from the beginning. Produced by Sandip Senan and Alex E. Kurian under Urvashi Theatres, Pen Studios (Dr. Jayantilal Gada), and Kaka Stories, the film features co-producers Sangeeth Senan, Nimitha Francis, and Raghu Subhash Chandran.
Written by Vibin Balachandran, the film boasts an ensemble cast including Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Binu Pappu, Bilas Chandrahasan, Sadiq, Dracula Sudheer, Kottayam Ramesh, Shari, and Shelly. The cinematography is handled by Ajay David Kachappilly, with music composed by Mujeeb Majeed. Following a 60-day shoot across Thodupuzha and Kochi, Neekam is slated for an October release by Urvashi Theatres.
