Advisory on Fraudulent Visa and Migration Processing Agencies Issued by Indian Missions in UAE.

DUBAI: The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai and the Northern Emirates have been receiving complaints from Indian nationals against certain visa and migration processing agencies operating outside India, including the UAE, that promote third-country employment and resident visa services through social media advertisements, collect fees from applicants, and then fail to deliver services or refunds.

Indian nationals are advised to exercise utmost caution and note the following guidelines:

  • Do not rely solely on social media advertisements or blindly believe private visa processing agencies, especially those operating from outside India.
  • Verify directly with the concerned Embassy or Consulate of the country you wish to visit, located in your country of residence, regarding visa requirements, application procedures, and authorized channels for obtaining employment or residency visas.
  • Never pay any amount based on promises of visa approval, as no agency can guarantee a visa since this is solely the decision of the issuing government.

For accurate and updated visa information, applicants should always consult the official government or embassy websites of the concerned country directly, rather than relying on third-party platforms.
