RIYADH: Three natives of Thiruvananthapuram who arrived in Saudi Arabia on fake work visas were sent back without being permitted entry into the country. The incident took place at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
They had arrived in Riyadh four days ago. However, as authorities found that the work visas in their possession were fake, they were denied entry into Saudi Arabia. Consequently, they had to remain at the airport until the necessary procedures were completed.
After finishing the formalities, all three were sent back on a flight to Kozhikode the very next day. Irregularities related to their employment visas led to them being denied entry into the kingdom.
A Warning for Those Seeking Overseas Jobs
This incident once again highlights the importance of verifying the authenticity of visas for individuals traveling with hopes of securing employment abroad. Job seekers must check the credibility of recruitment agencies and verify visa details through official channels.
Traveling overseas on fake visas can result in financial loss, travel disruptions, and legal complications. Therefore, expatriates should carefully review their employment contracts, visas, and employer details prior to departure.
