Kollam: A fisherman died after a fishing boat capsized near the breakwater (pulimuttu) at Neendakara in Kollam district. The deceased has been identified as Rajeev. The accident involved a fishing vessel named ‘Sreekrishna Bhagavan’. Two other fishermen remain missing following the incident.
A search operation is currently underway to locate the missing persons, identified as Radhakrishnan and his son Gautam. The tragedy occurred around 7 AM on Friday morning.
There were 14 people on board the boat at the time of the mishap. The remaining crew members were rescued shortly after the capsizing. Search efforts by the Coast Guard and local fishermen are actively ongoing to find the missing duo.
