DOHA: Sanskriti Qatar organized a solemn condolence meeting to pay rich tributes to Srinivasan Mampra, a dedicated executive member of the organization’s Rayyan Unit, who passed away last Friday. The memorial service took place at the Najma Sanskriti Hall in Doha, bringing together members of the expatriate community to honor his memory. The commemorative event was presided over by the Rayyan Unit President, Siddique K. K., while former Sanskriti General Secretary A. K. Jaleel delivered the keynote memorial speech, highlighting the deceased leader’s lifelong contributions to social service.
Several prominent socio-cultural personalities from the Indian diaspora in Qatar attended the meeting and shared their memories of Srinivasan. Former Director of the Non-Resident Keralites Welfare Board E. M. Sudheer, Sanskriti General Secretary Shamseer Arikulam, MAPCO Qatar President Sujeer, and Incas Ponnani Mandalam President Haris Babu addressed the gathering. The speakers collectively observed that the untimely and sudden demise of Srinivasan has resulted in the irreplaceable loss of an exceptionally noble-hearted, compassionate human being who worked selflessly for the welfare of his fellow compatriots.
Sanskriti Central Committee Member Dr. Prathibha Ratheesh, North Zone Secretary Abdul Hakim, Rayyan Unit Secretary Abid Pavaratty, Joint Secretary Pradeesh, along with several close personal friends and well-wishers of Srinivasan Mampra, also spoke during the event. Recalling his active participation in community-driven initiatives in the Gulf region, his colleagues stated that his vacuum would be deeply felt across the organization, particularly within the Rayyan sector where he served with unmatched dedication.
