KOCHI: A scooterist was killed in a fatal road accident at Cheranalloor in the early hours of Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Jayabalakrishnan, a resident of Manjali. The accident occurred when a speeding car rammed into the rear of his scooter. Local police arrived at the spot and took the 17-year-old minor who was driving the car into custody.
According to police sources, the minor in custody is the son of an Additional District Judge. Officials confirmed that the vehicle involved in the crash is registered under the judge’s name. A formal case has been registered, and further legal procedures are currently underway.
