Tejalakshmi (Kunjatta), daughter of actors Manoj K. Jayan and Urvashi, has faced the camera for the first time. The shoot for her debut film ‘Priyathaman’, starring Sreenath Bhasi in the lead role, has officially commenced.
The auspicious moment of the daughter stepping in front of the camera took place in her mother’s native region. Tejalakshmi faced the camera for the first time in the courtyard of St. Joseph’s Church in Chavara Thekkumbhagom, near Karunagappally, Kollam. Titled ‘Priyathaman’, the film is directed by Regi Prabhakaran.
The shoot kicked off as Fr. George Sebastian, Vicar of St. Joseph’s Church, lit the ceremonial lamp in the presence of actors, crew members, relatives, friends, and elected representatives. While ‘Sukhamayirikkatte’ dealt with a serious subject, ‘Priyathaman’ tells a light-hearted, humor-filled family story.
The narrative unfolds through humorous situations when an MBA graduate enters the lives of a mother and son who share a deeply bonded relationship. The story progresses through light and endearing moments.
