CHENNAI: As Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay’s final film, ‘Jana Nayagan’, prepares for a grand worldwide release on July 24, news has emerged that his son, Jason Sanjay, who is making his directorial debut with the Tamil film ‘Sigma’, is also set to make his acting debut soon.
Discussions regarding the acting project are currently underway, and it is expected to be produced by GKM Tamil Kumaran. Consequently, Jason Sanjay’s directorial venture ‘Sigma’ will not release on July 31 as initially planned, but has been pushed to August to accommodate the release of ‘Jana Nayagan’.
While Lyca Productions, headed by GKM Tamil Kumaran, has produced ‘Sigma’, sources suggest that Tamil Kumaran is likely to produce Jason Sanjay’s acting debut under his own independent banner.
Regarding ‘Sigma’, the film stars Sundeep Kishan in the lead role and is described as a high-octane heist entertainer featuring a treasure-hunt plot filled with comedy.
