Six people were killed on Sunday after an Iranian missile struck a residential building in the Israeli town of Beit Shemesh, west of Jerusalem. Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) rescue service confirmed the death toll rose after two bodies were extracted from under the rubble of the partially collapsed building. Additionally, 23 people were injured in the strike, with at least two in serious condition, including a 10-year-old girl.
The attack is part of a series of retaliatory missile barrages launched by Iran following the death of its Supreme Leader in joint U.S.-Israeli strikes. (Iranintl & Reuters)
