KAYAMKULAM: Anilkumar Mulanthala, a resident of Chirakkadavm near the GDM Auditorium, passed away. Popularly known among his friends and associates as ‘Gandhi Anil’, he was a dedicated worker of the Indian National Congress and an alumnus of Kayamkulam MSM College. Known for his mild-mannered and friendly nature, Anilkumar maintained warm relations across political lines.
He is survived by his wife, Deepa (Teacher), and his children, Vinayan and Deepak. The funeral rites will be conducted today, March 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM on his residential premises. Several local leaders and friends have expressed their deep condolences over his passing. (KN)
