Lines closed between Luton and Bedford as emergency services attend scene
One person has died and a number of people are injured after two trains collided in the Bedford area, authorities have said.
The British Transport Police said a major incident has been declared, and officers remain at the scene alongside colleagues from Bedfordshire police and the local fire and rescue and ambulance services.
