NEYYATTINKARA: Seven school students were injured after a van overturned into a roadside canal at Kakkaravila, near Neyyattinkara, on Friday. According to the police, the vehicle, which was operating on a contract basis for New Jyothi Public School, was carrying 11 occupants, including nine students, the driver, and an attendant.
The vehicle is suspected to have lost control after one of its tyres got stuck in mud along a narrow stretch of the road. It then veered off the road and overturned into an adjacent canal.
