Thiruvananthapuram: The Nair Service Society (NSS) is set to stage a protest against Leader of the Opposition V D Satheesan, with its Thiruvananthapuram Taluk Union leading a march to the Secretariat. The demonstration is being organized to express solidarity with NSS General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair. Additionally, the organization aims to voice its protest against the recent criticisms levelled against the Vice President and Union Minister Suresh Gopi. The rally is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM from the Martyrs’ Column.
This development follows NSS General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair reiterating that he was denied an appointment to meet V D Satheesan. Nair’s statement came shortly after Satheesan addressed a press conference, dismissing reports of denying an appointment as false and maintaining that he had already spoken directly with the NSS General Secretary.
