Milipol Qatar 2026 Opens Tomorrow; Over 270 Global Companies to Display Cutting-Edge Homeland Security Innovations.

DOHA: Under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the landmark 30th edition of Milipol Qatar 2026—the premier international exhibition for homeland security and safety—is scheduled to commence on Tuesday at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC). The three-day event will bring together more than 270 local and international companies showcasing advanced technological solutions in the security sector.

Details regarding the exhibition were unveiled on Sunday during a press conference addressed by Major-General Nasser bin Fahad Al-Thani, Chairman of the Milipol Qatar Committee, and Karen Galstyan, Director of the Milipol Network, alongside representatives of key sponsors and supporting organizations.

Organized by the Ministry of Interior, the exhibition runs through October 22, offering a dedicated global platform for security chiefs, policy experts, industry leaders, and tech vendors to exchange domain expertise, evaluate emerging innovations, and deepen bilateral security cooperation.

Confirming that all operational preparations have been successfully completed, Maj-Gen Nasser highlighted that this year’s edition spans an expansive exhibition area of 23,000 square metres and features seven specialized national pavilions.

In addition to indoor showcases, an outdoor display area will highlight the Ministry of Interior’s specialized vehicle fleet, showcasing operational capabilities and hardware utilized in maintaining national security and public safety.

The event is designed to assist participating companies and government organizations in adopting integrated security systems, next-generation equipment, and technology-led strategies to safeguard infrastructure and personnel against evolving threats.

Concurrently, the event will host the Doha International Conference on AI and Security, gathering global experts to discuss the strategic deployment, operational benefits, and risk governance surrounding Artificial Intelligence (AI) in defense and security operations.

Recalling the exhibition’s legacy since its inception in 1996, Milipol Network Director Karen Galstyan noted that Milipol Qatar was the very first event in the global Milipol series to be held outside France, establishing Doha as a pivotal hub for international defense engagements.

This year’s national pavilions include the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, North America, China, the Czech Republic, and France, with the French contingent hosting over 20 participating firms. Key focus areas across the exhibition include cybersecurity, physical access control, surveillance networks, and civil defense.

Marking three decades of operation, Milipol Qatar will introduce the ’30th Anniversary Awards’ to formally honor long-standing corporate exhibitors who have consistently participated over the past three decades, accompanied by a retrospective display commemorating the event’s evolution since 1996.
