KOCHI: The official theatrical release date for director Ranjith’s highly anticipated multi-starrer action entertainer, Law and Order, has been locked for July 24. The makers officially announced the date by unveiling a striking new promotional poster featuring actor Prakash Varma—who rose to fame as ‘George Sir’ in the movie Thodarum—in a commanding police uniform. The poster also highlights five young individuals running in the background, three of whom are clad in police attire, strongly indicating a fast-paced investigation thriller centering around a dedicated team of law enforcers.
The high-octane commercial venture is jointly produced by Premachandran A.G. and Maha Subair under the prestigious production banners of Satyam Cinemas and Maha Subair Movie Kshethra. Renowned commercial scriptwriter Udaykrishna has penned the screenplay for this big-budget project. The core narrative follows the professional journeys, challenges, and personal dynamics of five newly recruited Sub-Inspectors (SIs) and a veteran police officer who acts as their guiding pillar in maintaining law and order. The extensive filming schedule spanned approximately ninety days and was successfully shot across various locations including Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Kottyam, Wayanad, and Kannur.
Law and Order features actress Abhirami in a stellar and pivotal role, marks her next major screen appearance after her widely acclaimed performance in the recent film Blast. The movie boasts a massive ensemble cast including Rithu Dev Ayyappan, Shanood Ibrahim, Don Michael, Sajal Sudharshan, Nijad Babu Thomas, Shersha Sherif, Rinosh George, Amal Jose Antony, Bobby Kurian, V.K.
