NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm greetings to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on his 62nd birthday on Thursday, lauding his administrative acumen in significantly strengthening India’s internal security architecture.
Shah, who has held the portfolio of Union Home Minister since 2019, turned 62 on Thursday. “Warm birthday greetings to Home Minister Amit Shah. His administrative understanding has ensured India’s internal security systems become more effective,” Prime Minister Modi said in a post on X.
PM Modi highlighted Shah’s pivotal contributions to governance, specifically praising his noteworthy successes in eradicating Maoist violence and accelerating the government’s mission to build a drug-free society. “I pray that he is blessed with a long and healthy life in service of the people,” the Prime Minister added.
